Like a hybrid of a Little Free Pantry and a Geocache, the little Free Resource Hub is a physical cabinet that stores goods to be distributed amongst the community at large. The community can then restock the cabinet with their own goods in order to foster exchanges of goods with no monetary involvement.

The cabinet can be filled with any items that may be necessary or helpful for the average population.

Such as;

  • Hygiene & health supplies; first aid kits, pads, toothbrushes

  • Resource lists; GETAIDNOW cards, flyers, zines, food bank locations

  • Weather-proofing Supplies; Emergency blankets, hats, hand warmers

  • Portable food & water; Water bottles, protein bars, trail mix

  • Survival Supplies; Flashlights, recycled plastic grocery bags, whistles

  • Everyday items; type-c chargers, portable power banks, notebooks, pens

You can also restock the cabinet with used or unwanted items like old technology, utensils, jewelry, etc…

The process is very simple;

  2. Decorate the cabinet in any way you would like.

  3. Stock the cabinet with your first resources.

  4. Spread the word! You can upload your Resource Hub location to our map below for free, and/or advertise on your personal platforms.
