Our collective society thrives when its members have autonomy and knowledge.
Our beliefs
Literacy is a human right
A culture where people are not taught reading and comprehension skills is a society that is built on using it’s members as sheeple and slave labor.
Every individual has a right to comprehension.
Equity over Equality
In a world that is obsessed with the idea of equality, we understand that some groups of people need more help than others.
We take great pride in making space for differently abled, houseless, and minority peoples
Everyone has a purpose
We want to foster a society of people that values differences in interests and skills.
The artist, the worker, and the manager all have valuable things to add to society, whether or not it makes them a profit.
Technology & Nature can co-exist
To shun technology is to become stagnant, but to deny nature is to be ignorant.
Our society has been using technology to destroy our planet when we could use technology to improve our planet instead.
Housing First
All of us are inhabitants of the Earth. As such, we must take care of the Earth and each other.
Everyone deserves a safe place to live regardless of circumstance. In order to solve poverty and addiction, we need to give housing first.
To have a strong collective, you must empower your members
Collectivism thrives when you help each person improve their skills.
Both the arm and the head are parts of the body that serve a function. One is to think, and one is to act. You don’t strengthen the body by asking the arm to strategize, nor the mind to lift weights.

Our Accomplishments
As a queer, neurodiverse and Indigenous run organization, we understand that the biggest contribution to declining literacy rates are extremist, fascistic and racist institutions that were present at this countries birth and intentionally configured to keep minorities in poverty. Therefore, we must work to dismantle these systems alongside empowerment of oppressed individuals.
We also understand that most organizations involved with literacy and aid are religiously inclined. We make it a point to state that we as an organization have no religious inclination. We value the separation of church and state, just as we value religious plurality among our members and those that we help.
